Smac.4M cells are 95 % pure, primary-like smooth muscle cells as verified by morphology, immunostaining for smooth muscle-specific proteins, gene expression analysis, as well as electrophysiological properties. Smac.4M smooth muscle cells can be kept in culture for at least 2 weeks, allowing for long-term experiments. 

Smac.4M cells are 95 % pure smooth muscle. They are delivered frozen in cryovials or 96 well plates. The proprietary technology ensures a stable and reproducible format with high lot-to-lot stability.of cells that are tested negative for mycoplasma and microbial contaminations. Guaranteed is a viability rate of at least 50 % measured by Trypan Blue exclusion. A Certificate of Analysis is included.
