Murine cardiomyocytes iPS

Cor.At-i cardiomyocytes are 100% pure, primary-like cardiomyocytes derived from mous iPS cells. The cardiomyocyte phenotype is verified by morphology, immunostaining for cardiac-specific proteins, and gene analysis (Affymetrix Mouse Genome chip and RT-PCR). When seeded at sufficient density, Cor.At-i cardiomyocytes form a synchronously beating monolayer after approx. 24h of culture. The cells can be kept in culture for at least 3 weeks, allowing for long-term experiments. Over time, they will change their phenotype from early neonatal to adult, as in the developing mouse pup.

Validated protocols are available for several applications, e.g. cell viability assays, label free analysis, manual and automated Patch Clamp, Ca-flux analysis, Troponin release, O2 consumption, and induction of a hypertrophic phenotype. Cor.At- cardiomyocytes are 100% pure cardiomyocytes. They are delivered frozen in cryovials. The proprietary technology ensures a stable and reproducible format with high lot-to-lot stability.
Cells are tested negative for mycoplasma and microbial contaminations. Guaranteed is a viability rate of at least 50 % measured by Trypan Blue exclusion. A Certificate of Analysis is included.
