Murine cardiomyocytes iPS
The Cor.At iPS are cardiomyocytes that have been generated from a mouse iPS line. The promotor constructs driving the resistancy-gene are identical to those that are used in the ES-derived Cor.At® product line. Electrophysiological as well as toxicological experiments revealed a complete comparibility to the ES-derived cardiomyocytes.
Although the identical in vitro behavior the cells may provide a deeper insight in the fundamental differences between ES and iPS derived cells in future transplantation strategies.
